Rutgers-The State University in New Brunswick, NJ and graduated with a B.S. in Biology.  She earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Meharry Medical College-School of Dentistry in Nashville, TN; where she graduated Magna Cum Laude. She is a member of the National Dental Honor Society; Omicron Kappa Upsilon.  She completed a General Practice Residency and Pediatric Dentistry Residency at Montefiore Medical Center/Albert Einstein University in Bronx, NY. She is a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry.  As part of the National Health Service Corps she practiced Pediatric Dentistry in Camden, NJ from 1988 until 1996.  After completion of her service she relocated to Georgia.  Where she practiced Pediatric Dentistry in Decatur, GA from 1996 until 2015.  In 2015, Dr. Williams returned to Nashville, TN and assumed the role of Chairman and Associate Professor in the Department of Pediatric Dentistry at Meharry Medical College.  Upon completing her tenure at Meharry School of Dentistry, she returned to serve the children of Georgia by opening a practice in McDonough, Ga.  “KIDZ TOOTH ZONE”.
